Zandra died defending civilians from the Sith attacking Chandrila.

Every alert goes red and Bubbles screeches. There's a moment of sheer panic - Zan knows what that ship is. She reaches for the force, meditating as she listens. << Roger, leader. Trigger going in for a run. >> She's in position to take the first run, dodging the fire from the tie fighters as if they're not even there. Her eta dances through space, the two nearly moving as one - there are some jedi masters who'd be proud right now, if they were around to see it. Zan has practiced and practiced and practiced this maneouver, in sims, in practical, as much as is technically possible outside of actual combat.

She speeds up, aiming that little fighter at the interdictor. Bubbles is helping her out. There's a deep breath, and a nod. "We got this, Bubbles. We do." A query from the little BB unit and a half chuckle from Zan. That's all there is time for, as the speed she's going at means she gets there in a hurry.

It's a piloting trick, but Zan is an ace pilot. And she proves it this time, her ship slipping under the shields of the nasty evil planet killing interdictor. << I'm in, >> she calls, letting the team know, even as she uses the Force to get her target lock. << May the Force be with us,>> she adds softly, but loudly enough for them all to hear. << Get out of here, I'm about to stir up the hornet's nest. >> Her torpedos are fired and both hit. That's one thing, but Zan's not content with their damage, she aims her fighter at the bridge, she can see it, nearly see the shocked look on the faces of the folks there as Saber 5 slams into the bridge, following her torpedos.

There's an explosion as Zan's fighter explodes in a bright flare, leaving the BB unit crisped and ionized, and the pilot inside - Zandra - dead.
