Log:Puff of Smoke

Maz needs some tabac

Location: The Galactic Tabac Pipe
Participants: Lexi, Maz Kanata, Sirus Yume

At the moment Sirus is sitting behind the counter with a soft chuckle and then he shoots a huge wad of smoke into the air. He then looks down at the hookah tracing the purple cord all the way to the little metal object. He then slides out his little silver flask taking out his flask slowly and taking a long sip of it. The shop is mostly empty not yet the night rush and the mid afternoon rush all home drunk.

Maz Kanata walks in from the street, into the den of smoke. The door opens, and shuts. However, Maz is so short it does not look like a customer came in. She inhales and moves to the counter. She looks up at the wall, the drawers and the viles. She looks for a chair to pull herself to people's eye level. "I thought the air quality was thick outside, you could cut it with a vibro blade in here." She calls just as she is able to pull herself up on a stool to look at Sirus.

Lexi walks out of the back of the shop wearing a black and red pinstripe corset dress that almost dances along the floor as she walks in it with a warm smile curling her lips. A freshly lit cigarette resting between her lips is being withdrawn by her index and middle fingers as she blows the smoke upwards. Her eyes fall upon Maz and she offers a warm smile to as she says "Evening miss. Is there anything that I can get you? Smoke thing to drink or smoke by chance?" Her free hand gently running down Sirus's back as she takes another drag of the cigarette.

"Hello there little one." Sirus watches her for a moment and then his eyes go wide with a soft smile."I'm sorry for the insult Maz Kanata. It took me a moment to remeber your amazing face." He walks over slowly offering his hand to her."I'm Sirus Yume and I'm told you know my mother." He then helps her slowly into a chair and then he walks over to grab his own personal hookah making his way over."This is mine and it is loaded with my favor tabac. I could get you a hose?"

Maz Kanata smiles big with those tiny tombstone teeth of hers. "I haven't been called Miss in a very -long- time young lady." Maz is complimented. She watches the echani and human interact. "I was looking for something exotic in smoke, since I am on a little vacation." Then she scowls at Sirus, 'little one' is not something you can call her and get away with. She 'ahs' as he reconizes and changes his tune. "Well, my repuation proceeds me." She slaps his hand, not impressed with the echani, she slaps his hand away. She dials her goggles at him. "I haven't heard tale of the Yume family in some time.. I thought they all died off or married their cousins." Maz is sharp as a tack, even given her age. She shakes her head at him. "You called me short.. I will do no business with you.." She shoos him away.

Lexi smiles as she begins to gather up her tabac inventions and walks over to Maz as she says "My intention is to make sure all who enter here leave content with their service. I can offer some of the blends that I have come up with. I have Nu Yu which is to help one remember what it feels like to be innocent, No Jive this one is more as an energy boost with traces of espresso when smoked, then there is Nerves B Gone which is meant to make someone feel more courage though I think you no need that miss and the most popular so far is The Captain which tends to make those who smoke it feel very successful even if they already have everything in the palm of their pretty hands. Would any of these interest you by chance? Oh and I am Lexi, Miss should you be liking a beverage with your smoke? I am decently skilled with various drinks."

"Well I'm so sorry for my comment." Sirus moves slowly back to his corner and then walks over to the tabac slowly selecting a special mix slowly with a smile. Then it is placed back into the drawer with a smirk and then he walks back over slowly and then he sips his water slowly."My mother spoke highly of you and I'm so sorry I don't know ever hear if you leaving often." He then makes his way over slowly to sit next to her with a smile."You honor me with your preence in my humble shop. I will leave you be for I have accidently insulted you."

Maz Kanata goes back to smiling at Lexi. Her brow raises in appraisal. "Well.. I am already king of my domain and captain of what I servey.." She trails off rubbing her chin. "Any fun thing you can mix up is fine dear." She dials her goggles. "Nu Yu, hm? Brings back memories of innocence? That would be one heck of a time jump for these old bones." She turns and scowls at the echani, she says nothing. She is a stern old wrinkly orange skin.

Lexi smiles as she says "So would you like to sample some of the Nu Yu, also is there a specific color hookah you would like tonight and shall I bring you some bottled water to drink with your hookah?" The Nu Yu smells like hints of lavendar but tastes like pure white cotton candy.

"Well then...."Sirus stands up slowly with a shake of his head."To make you enjoy my place of business and I will leave you with my server." He pushes up to his feet slowly with a frown at her for a moment."Once again I did not mean insult....."He then walks towards the door slowly watching her for a moment.

Maz Kanata is watching Sirus like a hawk. She shakes her head. "I'd rather pack it to go please Dear." She snorts at Sirus. "Get over here Yume. Let me get a good look at you." She shakes her head. "Next time treat all your customers equally." She watches Lexi and nods. "Interesting set up.. you have here."

Lexi smiles at the request and says "I will be sure to do that for you Miss, please excuse me for the moment so I can put it in the proper packaging so it will keep its effect until you get to where you are going to be to smoke this delight." She then begins to head back behind the bar and makes a fresh batch for Maz and puts it into one of the locking porcelian jars, wraps it in bubble wrap and then places it into a box, carefully sealing it with adhesive tape. She even places a tasteful bow upon it and then begins to walks back over to Maz and offers it to the woman with a warm smile as she says "I made sure it is sealed nice and tight for you so that you can enjoy it at your leisure. I believe there are about two or three experiences within the jar depending on the size of the bowl of the hookah you intend to use Miss." She will only withdraw her hand once the carefully wrapped package is removed from her hand and then stand up right once more.

Sirus turns around slowly making his way over to her with a soft smile."Yes Maz." He stops looking at her for a moment with a soft smile on his face. His hands behind his back softly for his other mother told him to never cross this one. She never told him why just that simple fact and that he should keep his brother away from her castle. His eyes on hers for a moment and then he exhales the smoke away from her from the last inhale he took.

Maz Kanata smiles up at Lexi and takes the package. "Thank you. How much do I owe you?" She goes to fumble for credits. She pauses to look the echani boy over. "Good looks will only get you so far Yume. You need to work on your manners." She has a cheeky smile. "How many are left of you Yumes?"

"Myself and my brother and my father and a mother..."Sirus sighs softly watching her for the moment and then he looks at Lexi with a smile."But some of my uncles and such. But we are not what we were once were." He then sips the water sliding the silver flask out of the hidden pocket."You owe us nothing everyone first trip is free and that is not just for you."

Lexi smiles to Maz as she says "Since it is not officially on the menu yet consider it a gift from myself and the Yumes to you as an attempt at an apology for the insult he offended you with. If you do come to like it and wish to partake of it once more then we can speak about prices." As Sirus corrects her, she blushes and says "If you like I can make sure word gets to you when I have the rest of my flavor emotions done and your next sample of it will be free of your choosing of course."

Maz Kanata flips her goggles away from her eyes. "That is quite a change in numbers." She looks remorseful. She nods. "That is a grand gesture. Thank you both." She nods and pockets the smokes. "I'll see what I think. I do not normally make it out this way. It is a shame to hear about your family Yume." She pauses. "If it is good smoke I'll have my friend come and pick up some more for me when they gain some bottle restock." She nods to the both of them. "Nice to meet you too. Keep out of trouble Yume. You may want to beef up your numbers." She hops down from the stool and makes her way out.
