Anakin turns back from the dark side

OOC Date: January 27, 2016
Location: Twi'Lick Nightclub and Art Gallery
Participants: Sirus Yume, Suoh Yume, Thilda Akura Shadow Syndicate

The club the place Sirus had been going to for meeting as of late it seems and his eyes not even looking towards the stage. But criminals sure do love their strippers he is sitting in the back at a table with his cig light in his hand smoking slowly and blowing smoke rings. In front of him is a three drinks empty and his fingers drumming on the table waiting for the person he was told might be a good fit. He then sighs taking out his notebook starting to write in Hutt mixed with Jawa and a little basic. His eyes drifting around the room slowly with a shake of the head.

Dressed for the occassion, a short human girl walks into the nightclub, bouncers eyeing her for a bit before deciding it isn't worth it. She is wearing a skin tight black dress that stops just above her thighs and a pair of black stilettos, a handbag slung over her shoulders. Meandering through the dancers and party-goers, she looks like she has a purpose, and then she sees the Echani she is looking for, slipping over and sitting down at the table across from him, smiling. "Sirus, I assume? You'll pardon me, not many Echani in this part of this dump." The rough, yet somewhat lilting voice says as she leans across the table to get a better look at him.

Suoh ventures in slowly, he's not in much of a celebratory mood. So body shots and dancing with cute girls is out for him tonight. He lights his cigarette and takes an inhale, rather sad about the possibility of quitting smoking too. He puffs on it hungrily for a bit and exhales through his nose, looking like a tiny pissed off dragon. He wanders to his brother, which has, for human company, not bad looking. His cleverly sculpted eyebrow pulls up. "Now, with double vision." He counters and orders himself a shot and a drink.

"Well yeah I'm Sirus a mutual friend wanted me to meet you." Sirus unlike a normal person seems to push back a little more into the shadows with a smile."Said you were a girl of many little helpful talents." The smoke from his cig hitting the air slowly with a shake of his head."They did not tell me more and that is why I'm seeking you out?" The smoke is a deep red today with nothing it just red as blood."So then little Thilda tell me of yourself?"

"Me?" Thilda tries her best to look innocent but ends up giving a toothy grin. Waving over a serving girl, she starts talking, "I'm a pickpocket by trade, really. Wouldn't say I can't have my way with my tongue, either. Pretty good with a blade too. What more do you want to know?" When the serving girl comes over, she orders six shots of the local spew for the table. "I'm a pretty well-rounded girl, I'd say."

Suoh eyebrow raises and let's Sirus do the talking with the sharp toothed human girl. He knocks back his blue colored shot and sips his drink slowly in-between his cigarette. His steel eyes not looking away however, even in his uncomfortable silence.

"Oh that is handy skills." Sirus let's it hang there for a moment and then he downs the rest of his drink with a smile at her."So then what do you with these talents right now?" He then rubs his chin slowly and his fingers dancing in the light. The rest of his face mostly hidden in the light but his eyes and bits of it are light up with the cig."I mean do you long for bigger jobs?"

"You offering me a job then?" Thilda says with a grin, just as the shots arrive. She picks one of the green shots up and knocks it back. "It depends on what it is, I suppose. Never really been 'hired' before, I'll say that much."

Suoh watches some of the girls dancing and gyrating, he looks back to the conversation with curiosity. He drags on his cigarette and exhales a slither of purple smoke. He looks deep in thought.

"I'm still debating on it." Sirus exhales the red smoke into the air clouding the air for a moment in a huge burst. He leans forward now looking into her eyes showing the matching face to his brothers."well then if I was to offer a place in a new group?" He then smiles at her slowly the smile of a excited child like glee for a moment before his drink is slowly lifted."It has it's due and it's simple any job you pull we get 15% of the cut. That goes from the leaders all the way down to the bottom."

"I can get behind that," Thilda muses as she takes another shot and knocks it back. "What's in it for me, protection, I assume? A team to work with? All the booze I can dream of?" With a smirk, she leans in and smiles, "Provisionally, I'm in, will give the final yes when I see the contract, yeah?"

Suoh pffts. "Contract. We don't deal in paper." His smirks creeps into his features and has a sharp smile. "I'm not sure.. maybe we need a .. you know.. a active interview." He wiggles his eyebrows.

"There is no contract of course that links it all in one big cluster." Sirus exhales the smoke again with a wink and a shake of her." He then smiles slowly with a nod towards his brother."Good plan. I want you to steal something and bring it here." He slides piece of paper slowly down on the table with a wink at her."It's a simple item to get just a little Bantha in a house not too far. Once you have it come down to the art Gallery." He stands up now looking down at her with a smile."You get protection and access to a really good fence." He smiles broadly with another wink at her."So be there or be a Mynock."

Scooping up the piece of paper, Thilda smiles and knocks back the last set of shots, grinning broadly. "Oh, I'll do my best, Sirus." With that, she bows her head and stands up, weaving her way out of the nightclub.

  • A small house in the Corellian District*

The house is easy to find given there is basically a map to it in the letter left on the table and it is a large house sitting there behind a large gate locked at the moment. Right in the heart of the Corellian District with all sorts of fancy gadgets inside and out. Right now there is one bored as a all get up guard standing at the gate with a rifle hanging low at his side. There is a another guard standing on the other side a little bit back as well with a second riffle hanging from a strap on his back. They are quietly talking to each other through their headsets truly not watching anything around and for nothing bad ever happens in such a nice part of town. That type of crime keeps itself mainly to the other Districts as of late given the trouble with the Hutts.

Approaching the house quietly, Thilda slips into the shadows to avoid the guards. Quietly, she pries the window open and slips into the sitting room, doing her best to not bring any attention to herself.

As the little theif starts down her path of theiveatude is well travled but as she goes by the fence she bumps into a trash can sending it spinning down to the ground with a loud bang. Then the guard starts to make his way lazy over the one outside of the gate. His eyes still drifting around doing it like a robot builds a ship. His gun is raised more out of boredom and he only looks for a moment."All clear." He is close enough to her that she hears the boredom in the words and the tone as he makes his way back to the gate.

Wiping her brow, Thilda slinks inside the house and looks around for the Bantha, not even pausing to contemplate how lucky she was just then. With a smile, she pulls out a dim torch and starts casing the area.

Inside of the house is a lush carpet deep green that seems to help you sneak for it muffles all sound of feet. Thilda slides in slowly through a side window and landing on this amazing carpet. Her eyes adjusting to the dimness of the house quickly. There seems to be a few different doors leading deeper into the house. As she sits there at that moment a guard walks by the open door before she moves an inch and stopping looking both ways and then heading off."Going to get treasure room." The voice is female with the same air of boredom.

Sneaking up behind the female guard, Thilda picks up a rather convenient blunt metal object from a table and hits her on the back of the neck, hoping to silently knock her out.

The weapon strikes home perfectly it is one of those weird ash cleaners for a fireplace and is now bent into a giant U in the middle. But the female guard is down for the count with a nice crack on her visor. As Thilda enters it thought there is a long hallway with a pair of stairs leading up and down. Besides this one guard the whole house is quiet now that they are passed out.

Thilda rummages through the guard's pockets, taking anything valuable she can carry and her key-card. Looking somewhat pleased with herself, she continues her search of the house, also on the lookout for the treasure room.

Thilda finds a key-card and a wallet with about 5,000 credits in it. The stairs are winding up and down but she can hear the sound of guards down on the next floor they are talking it seems. There is no sound coming from above of her.

Moving up to the next floor, taking extra care to not be spotted by the guards, Thilda looks around, pocketing the credits and key-card while keeping down low.

There is a room on the floor she had picked with two guards standing in front of a door with a key-card reader sticking out of it. They are debating back and forth then in a rage they both part going their separate ways to either check the floor or skip out of work.

Swiping the keycard through the slot, Thilda quickly enters the room, closing the door behind her.

The treasure room is just what it implies a trophy room for someone or something. Everything is under glass case each one is a different animal made out of some type of gem. There is all sorts from all over the galaxy. There is a lead on each one naming it and telling a little bit about it.

Almost overcome, Thilda remembers what her job was, looking around for a Bantha shaped statuette. Seriously, wasn't she coming here for a LIVE Bantha?!

Thilda gets tied up looking at all the shines around her and not able to find the one she is looking for at the moment. SO much reflected light almost blinds her for a moment and as her eyes adjust to the glare of the room.

Finally, Thilda finds a rather striking red ruby Bantha statuette. With a look of glee, she picks it up and slips it into her bag which she slings over her shoulder. When that's all done, she makes her way out of the treasure room.

The hallway at the moment is empty and quiet as the grave but the sound of the footsteps heading back towards the room can be heard."Well then if your going to be that way." A loud voice can be heard as the footsteps get closer.

As Thilda makes a break for it, she trips and falls down the stairs, statuette falling with her, making an awful lot of noise and definitely bruising the poor girl.

"What the..."A loud voice booms out of the area as the sound of someone falling down the stairs can be heard with each thump down it seems people are heading in this direction. The sounds of running feet can be heard and the sounds of blaster starting to warm up.

Attempting to scramble to her feet, Thilda looks down at where the statuette landed and swear profusely. Her left leg is at a rather painful looking angle as it took the whole weight of the Bantha.

As she gets up at that moment the sound of footsteps sounds like they are getting closer to the little hurt human girl. A loud voice rings out with gruff sounding even from the distant."This is not a test. If someone is in there we need to capture them alive."

Attempting to get the statuette off her leg, Thilda tugs on the sack to no avail, only making the pain of her broken leg even worse as she tries her best to not scream out in pain.

The feet are right outside of the stair case right now about to come into the room. Now the feet have stopped moving waiting for the next order from the booming voice. For the moment they are just waiting in silence.

The door is opened quickly in storm the guards in their armor with their visors down and riffles pointed right at the would be thief."Stop right there." The booming voice commands and then he notices the little injured thief with a snort that would be laughter."Your not very good at this." He watches her for a moment and as he looms over her with his blaster rifle ready to go.

"You should see me on a good day." Thilda retorts with a grin, smiling up at the assembled guards. "So, private militia? Someone must REALLY want this place guarded." She muses, thinking for a bit. "Well done, though, I must say. Your boss hired me to see if your security is up to snuff. Have to say, if it weren't for this minor snag, think you might've failed." It's a last ditch attempt, but it might work.

"Well...."The Lead guard puffs out his chest and turning on the rest of them."I have been telling you all that the whole time. When I was in the army of the empire." He then offers a hand to help Thilda up with a warm smile and then he frowns looking at the others."We did our jobs and did them right. TEAM MEETING NOW!" He storms out of the room and the others with sighs of sadness and a linger hope of a quiet night now dashed like the leg of Thilda follow after. A few moments letter the whole guard staff is doing drills in the meeting room.

Thilda almost laughs at just how gullible the guards we as she finally manages to shift the sack from her leg and hobble up, clutching the table and taking the bag, throwing it out of the back window and joining it not soon after.

The window comes open quickly and then the bag is thrown right outside and after that out comes the girl in one swift motion. Even with her broken leg years of training in the art of stelth makes her move out of the area swiftly as you can. But that leg sure is a pain on the quick moving side of things.

With an enormous amount of effort, Thilda manages to stay upright even with her leg, dragging the statuette through the dark alleys to the drop that Sirus had pointed out earlier.

  • Art Gallery*

When she arrives at the Art Gallery there is a sign on the door closed for a private event but when she gets close the door is opened. Sirus is standing there dressed in a perfect red suit with a little red hat on with a smile."Welcome back." He looks at her for a moment shaking his head at the leg that she is supporting."That looks painful. Come on in we can talk now."

Hobbling forward, Thilda leans against the wall, trying to support herself. "Fuck me, stairs means business, don't they?" With a wide grin, she drops the package, "One Bantha, Sirus."

"I guess they do....."Sirus picks it up slowly with a smile at her."Come on in and then downstairs." He walks over to a hidden keypad in with the statues and a staircase opens up slowly and into it he goes. He sits down at a chair waiting for the girl to follow. He unwraps the Bantha slowly and then looks at it with a frown.

"What is it?" Thilda asks, noticing the frown as she sits down. "Did I get the wrong Bantha?"

"Nah it's just such a stupid piece is all. We were hired to find it and pass it on to a man. Some dumb collector." Sirus then sets it down on the table with a look back at her."I'll pay you a cut once the man pays me of course." He then crosses his leg in that fine suit just watching her for a moment."So how did it go? Not well I assume?"

"Oh, it went well enough, I got the piece, didn't I?" She grins and leans back. "I'll go see a doctordroid after and get my leg sorted, but other than that everything went fine."

"Well then your good to go."Sirus looks up at her for a moment."I will pay you when the process is finished. It has to go through our drop system to the client. You are free to join if you wish of course." He then sips a glass of water in a wine glass slowly watching her."We have a few more jobs if you wish to return to us."
