By all outward appearances in public, Sarrik Deyan is just another pilot in a galaxy full of them.
Sarrik was born into Clan Deyan, a fading clan with a history of bounty hunters, street-level lawmen, and mercenaries. Kiffex was lawless by nature with cutthroat cities, broken governments, and clan rivalries that stretched back centuries. His psychometric touch never developed, making him an outlier even among his own people. But instead of fading into obscurity, he embraced what he could control - his mind, body, and discipline. Finely honed athletic ability. As a result, in a clan culture where legacy and mysticism were currency, he was seen as ordinary.
Sarrik hated that. So he trained, harder than anyone. He studied tactics, starfighter systems, off-world combat manuals, and ancient clan warfare principles. He learned to fly on stolen speeders and patched-up airspeeders.
Sarrik's nature as a Sith pilot is essentially always tucked away in private for the most part. Less of a bullseye this way. In the public's eye he's just another trader trying to make a living.
