Description
Slightly shorter than average, this man's broad, leather-skinned face has probably seen the light of many distant suns. Weathered and wrinkled at the corners of his grey eyes, his skin is pocked and scarred, a large nose slightly twisted to one side with the tell-tale bulge in the middle of many breaks. A dark strip of cloth is tied around his forehead, just above his eyes, partially obscuring the almost-shaved stubble of his salt-and-pepper haired head. A thick tuft of hair droops from his chin, longer than the hair on his head by a good margin, and a few days of unshaved stubble rough up his cheeks and square jaw. At his throat is a tattoo in Galactic Basic. On either side of his neck are the words, "Coal Black" with a black heart in the center of the two words, over the man's adam's apple.
Muscular, but not overly so, with stylized tattoos that trail down his arms. One side is a black pattern of thick, twisting lines reminiscent of the skull of some alien animal, while the other forearm sports a thick circle wrapped in angular lines. The most striking feature is the man's hands - he only has eight fingers. The smallest fingers on either hand have been removed with what appears to have been some kind of dull bladed weapon judging from the scars. Across the remaining knuckles of his right hand, are tattooed the words, "Bad" while the across the remining knuckles of his left hand have, "Man" scripted across them.
The man wears tighter, form-fitting clothing that looks like it would allow him to move quickly if he needed to. The clothing is simple and non-descript, variations of black and grey, a black shirt with cargo pants printed in some kind of camouflage pattern and boots.
Normal Hooks
- Work in the Rim: Growing up shuttling between different brothels, Yves spent most of his life working for criminal organizations, usually tied to the Hutts, in the Outer Rim. Often finding work as an enforcer or bodyguard, Yves could easily have crossed paths with many unsavory characters, and those on a better side of the law.
- Imperial Prison: No fan of Imperial Remnants, Yves has probably spent some time in prison in Imperial-aligned systems.
- Old Enemies: Working for the Hutts in a mercenary outfit has given Yves a long list of enemies, or old allies.
- Courtesans and Prostitutes: As the son of a low-class prostitute in the Rim, Yves feels more at home in a brothel than a bar. People from this walk of life may easily know, or have known, of him.
- Swoop Bikes and Racing: Not well-known, but Yves is a fair Swoop pilot and likes to hot rod bikes occasionally.
Criminal Hooks
- Hutt-affiliations: Long-time employee of some of the Hutts in the Outer Rim, but no longer. Maybe something happened, there?
- Fast-talker: While not known for his mechanical or computational genius, Yves doesn't always use his fists to get out of a jam. Instead, he blinds them with his occasionally stunning personality.
- Organized Crime: Other crime syndicates, not just the Hutts, have occasionally employed him, and he's reasonably familiar with crime at the 'family' level.
- Gangsta: Likewise, Yves has a good number of contacts among Swoop gangs, and is known to be a pretty good Swoop pilot himself.
