History

Rail is just about as Nar Shaddaa as a young man can get. Born and raised on the Smuggler's Moon to two natives, the grimy, awful city runs through his veins. His father was an NSec officer and his mother was a courtesan. They rarely got along, so Rail never stayed around. Getting beat up on the streets was better than getting beat up at home. So, that's where he learned his trade. He eventually learned how to start fighting back. And decided to trade his fist for a blaster pistol and his solitary life for a gang of like-minded individuals.

Running with a gang, the young Onasi made lots of friends and stayed alive. More than a lot of Nar Shaddaa youth can say. Years later, most of the friends are gone, and Rail is plying his trade as a gun-for-hire.

More recently, Rail signed on with the Ebon Guard under Vraag Rengh. Deciding against going full-on Mando convert, the young Nar Shaddaan felt a little like an outcast. Fortunately, the Resistance came knocking. After meeting with Ambrosia Greystorm and Triz Dermout, Rail was recruited into the new-age Rebellion.

The Resistance gig didn't exactly work out, and Rail was on his own, again. Then he joined the Explorer's Guild. That also didn't work out.

So, he packed up and moved to Tatooine, where he spent a few months in Mos Espa, washing dishes at a little hole in the wall called Maxio's Diner. As fate would have it, he got (literally) thrown in the path of Leia Skywalker, who took it as a sign, and offered Rail a spot as the pilot of the Millennium Falcon.

Description

Standing at five feet and nine inches, this twenty-something human is pretty sturdy. Hard years have left there mark on his young face in the form of nigh-noticable scars and wrinkles, but he's of a cool temperment, at least to the outside eye. His blonde hair is kept short and brushed to one side and a blonde moustache and soulpatch rests upon his face.

Currently, he's wearing a fairly simple ensemble consisting of a tunic that's tucked into a pair of dark brown spacer's pants. The pants are, in turn, tucked into a pair of knee-length black leather boots. Around his waist is a simple black gunbelt that's home to a K-16 Bryar pistol. Above this all, he's wearing a leather coat with a flared collar and armored shoulders that reaches to his knees. Under the coat is a leather vest, worn open and barely visible most of the time.

Personality

Quiet and kind-natured. Not often quick-tempered or quick-witted.

The People

Vraag Rengh - Former boss. Good guy, if not a little intense. Has a good head on his shoulders, and I think hitching my wagon to him might pay out in the long run.

Ambrosia Greystorm - New boss(ish). The woman who recruited Rail into the Resistance. She's tough, but fair.

Triz Dermout - She doesn't like his pants. Wants to kill him because of it.
