Rax and Pack follow tracks

OOC Date: March 7, 2016
Location: Parmac's Starport
Participants: Zaena, Siya, Rax, Maz Kanata as ST

Zaena has accompanied Rax, walking behind and to the side of the tall thunder-eyed spacer. "Now, I'd like to make sure to do everything I can to ensure that there's no likelihood of a charge for false imprisonment. You let that guy go, right?" she asks, a little nervously, looking around the starport, checking her blaster and little vibro smallblade at her hip. "Either way, though - where do you think this Togruta gentleman's daughter might be?" she asks. "All the same, I'd have to advise getting a signed statement of consent..." blabs the purple twi'lek as a momentary and properly ignored interjection.

"Well..." Rax glances about the starport for one of the Insects--NSec guardsmen. "First we need to find out what happened to his partner in crime. Then we need to find out where he took the artifact. That'll lead us to the cult." But, Rax shrugs, glancing back over at the purple-skinned lawyer, "Maz is making him comfortable. He's less crazed fanatic now and more concerned father." He smirks, walking toward the first Guardsman he sees, "Lets go haul in our first catch of the day, ladies..."

Siya s a bit quiet as she walks along with the group. She is listening intently, gleaning as much information as she can before getting into whatever they are about to get into.

There are a lot of people a foot at the starport of Nar Shadda. Smugglers, smuggling, theives, spying. Old people playing board games while waiting for ride and info. Officers posted and such. People unloading semi illegal cargo, most fully illegal stuff is done in private hangers. Just the crazy hustle and bustle. a few are shouting and haggling over transport prices. A gaggle of people to grill for information.

Approaching one of the officers on duty, Rax thumbs over his shoulder, holding on to his belt with his other hand. "Hey pal. Seen any weird-looking blue twi'leks around lately? Or blue-painted togrutas causing trouble? Guy's a bounty I'm tracking." Producing his Bounty Hunter's Guild license, Rax raises an eyebrow, waiting for a reply.

Siya is looking around, but sticking close to the group. She watches someone walk by and stops them. "Excuse me sir? You havn't seen any glimpses of blue painted Togruta about have you?" Hey, she figures if the officer didn't know, maybe someone else may know. It's a long shot, but she felt silly just standing there and rocking on her heels.

The officer turns about however, the voice that comes out is gruff and unpleasant. "Who you callin' pal?" Clearly this was a lady officer and she demanded respect at all times. Overly unpleasant. The officer eyes the company in tow. "No weirder than what you are traveling with." The lady officer scans them all up and down, motions with her blaster. "Move along."

However, the male stopped by Siya is an elderly Mon Calamari, he leans on his cane and looks up at her. "Oh, yes young lady? A question?" The old one seems to be out here playing checkers with passerbys and is out here a lot. "Painted?" He looks at her long and hard. "You are easy on my old eyes my dear. Can I buy you a drink and talk about it further?" Apparently, old age has not quelled the old codger. "I may know a thing or two about a man in blue." He winks.

Smirking, Rax glances at the blaster and waggles his eyebrows, "Hey, no need to get fresh, darling. I'm moving." Turning with a flare of his long, red, leather coat, the two long tails sail behind him in the wind as Rax goes looking for a shipyard foreman, someone who manages cargo coming in and going out. Spotting Siya talking to an old lobster person, he leaves her to it, not interfering or getting close.

Siya cants her head and flashes a rather charming smile to the old man. A hand goes out and she pats him gently on his upper arm. "Alas, I do not have the time, I am afraid. Though if you find yourself in the Corelian district sometime, stop by the Blue Light. I tend to be there quite often. We could sit and chat some time then." She offers the man a wink before turning away and moving towards a cart, looking for the owner.

The female officer, watches as he moves along, not without the Rax-y flare of course. There is a foreman, a few workers of the like around. One blue in the face Criss, near purple from rage yells that one of the shipments is late or not enough of something. There are even a few kids roaming around, possibly little pick pockets or travelers as well.

The elderly lobster man smirks with a glint in his eyes. "Blue light. I'll chat with you then deary." He waltzes off with his cane, with maybe even more pep in his step. There is a cart however, the owner is sitting under an umbrella reading something. The young lass looks up. "Blue painted Togruta?" She mulls it over. "A while ago. Not exactly blue though.. more like.. tinted. Was trying to trade shells for services rendered."

As some of the thieving scamps run by, Rax holds out a hand, "Hey, kid. You seen any weird blue twi'leks or togrutas in blue paint around here?" He smirks, "Bounty Hunter's Guild business." Glancing away briefly when a cart vendor appears to be talking to Siya in the distance, Rax grins, looking at the kid. "Better tell me fast, or the pretty Zeltron over there is going to beat you to it. You guys seen anything or not?"

Siya cants her head and she smiles a little. A couple credits are taken out from her bosom and then handed to the woman. "I have a few more of those if you can tell me more of where this blue tinted togruta went to?" She offers a rather pleasant smile to her. "It's quite important that I speak with him."

One of the street urchin looks at Rax and ponders. "Well..." The kids drags out his words like kids do. "There was the guy... with that, weirdo box. He held on to it like it was his-his..his wife." A couple of the kids giggle. "His fingers were stained blue.. He looked like he'd been paintin' the wrong end of a ship." More giggling. One of the kids bounces a ball off the back of Rax head and runs off in two groups in two different directions. A few of the kids stay behind to chit chat.

The girl at the food cart cringes. Yum, boobie credits. Her favorite- not. She tries to give a pleasant smile but there is a slight hint of disgust. But money is money right? She takes the credits and lights up at the idea of more credits. She points to the kid Rax is talking to. "He'll know the guy he traveled out with." She pockets the credits. She holds her hands out for more credits. Boob credits or not she wants the money.

The thrown ball, has Rax whirling around and staring perilous daggers after the kids who ran off that way... But he smirks once they've well and truly fled. He upnods to the kids who remain behind. "Hey. 50 credits to the kid who can find me info on where the blue guy with the box went." His grin widens as he nods aside, "Get me a ship and a destination, I'll make it 100 credits."

Zaena comes back, a little red-faced. "Sorry," she says. "I wasn't able to find anything out at the constabulary," she says. "I think I barely managed to escape with my dignity and my ability to stay on the planet intact," she says, looking around. She lifts an eyebrow as Rax starts bidding. "Well," she says. "That's certainly one way to go about it," she says, with a chuckle.

Siya turns to look to the kid that Rax is talking with. She manages to just see the offending ball bounce off Rax's head. Laughter comes from her. She then pulls the pouch out and offers a bit more money to the woman. Well, at least the credits were in a pouch which were in her boobs. Then she tucks the pouch back in securely. "Thank you miss." She grins. Then she turns to head back to Rax and the children.

The little greedy buggers, children, I mean children, grin greedily at him. They almost paw him down for credits when he is not moving. However, one of the kids looks up at him. "I know. You'll wanna talk to my papa." The kid takes him by the hand and leads him across the starport to a quieter corner of it.

The girl takes the sweaty pouch cleavage credits and keeps them, debates washing before pocketing.

Following the kid at speed, Rax keeps sharp eyes on the other kids. While they may not fear his reputation, they'll certainly fear a swift backhand so long as he can keep them in sight. But, follow he does, deep into the quiet corner of the Parmac's spiral.
