Theed Public Starport - Theed, Naboo
The landing field to the City of Theed sits just outside of the city proper itself. The field is nestled nicely on the edge of a cliff-face and right beside one of Theed's many magnificent rivers and waterfalls. The landing field has a smooth tan-rock tarmac and it lines the western bank of the river. Further west, passed the edge of the tarmac are tall trees with wavy green leaved branches and thick fields of grass beneath them.
The landing field has several arching bridges that lead over the wide river towards the city in the east. Theed's aqua-colored dome top buildings are visible as they stretch up above the trees in the east. The landing field is only ever moderately busy as public transports landing and depart, and few trade ships pass in and out. The subtle elegance of this large starport is a hint of what to expect within Naboo's largest city.
The elaborate braids piled high, the swinging earrings in fine gold that complement her pink skin, the long court skirts in a blue beloved by the royal court in Zeltron mark her as a visiting dignitary. She holds her chin high as she sweeps down the ramp with the straight back and easy posture of a dancer. Grinning like a street urchin, she heads straight for Tylin, arms out to grab hold of her.
"If that ad did nothing else than bring you to us, I will be very very happy. How /are/ you?"
Standing there among the hustle and bustle of the spaceport Ty turns her eyes from one of the departing ships to look at Dy. A smile settles upon her "I am doing well," she starts before a grump look crosses her features "Well till those idiots decided to bomb the CoreStar and now I'm locked out of my hangar there. I do hope it's not to badly damaged." Hope against hope.
"I am sorry to hear about that. Will insurance help or is an act of war not covered in the policy? We have a lot, I mean a lot to talk about. I want to introduce you to the crew and hope you will stay with us.Where to begin?" She gestures to herself with a wry smile, "This is because of a meet we are going to do this evening. I want to stay in the background so this is my cover. We already have a little job for you to do if you are up for it."
The grump turns back to a warm smile as Ty releases her own embrace of Dy. She gives a shrug of her shoulders "I've no idea. Though I am looking for a new place. I'm not sure if I want to keep a place on Nar. Not with all the changes that seem to be taking place." Again comes that shrug. A brow rises "I've found the best place to start is at the beginning. I'm looking forward to meeting the crew. Oh? A job? Sure, count me in," Ty says rapidly "Err, what kind of job? You know I'm not the best shooter around," she says with a chuckle.
Linking her arm through hers she strolls towards the edge of the spaceport, only on Naboo would the authorities have invested in the view and making the landing pads pleasant. The river at the bottom of the tallest cascade that falls from the city above them can be seen, swift and wide as it rolls towards the plains. "Slicing. Finding the identity of the person who wants to meet us here this evening. We are all suspicious."She turns her head to regard Tylin, a smile still lighting her face despite the tragic circumstances that brought her to them. "Interested?"
With her own arm linked she strolls with Dy. Ty ponders a bit "I don't think that would be a problem. Though I think," a quick glance back at her own ship before turning back to Dy "I should have brought my other ship it seems. It has my main computer on it. I could quickly jack into the net here and let the algorithms run and get you an answer real quick like."
Standing alongside the route that's taken, Rhysio Ando, codenamed Agent Axon, is speaking with one of the service droids that manages the maintenance crews hovering around the Public Starport of Theed. With expressive, animated gestures of his hands, he is explaining a concept to the droid, "Anywhere else I go, I don't need to provide my own diagnosis of issues with the ship to get basic maintenance done. I need your typical service for a ship of that class after entering and exiting hyperspace in one piece." He seems about ready to throttle the droid before the droid launches in to a long-winded explanation of when, why, and how they will proceed fixing the starship, right up until an exasperated Rhysio cuts the droid off, "Great. I'll be back in a few hours. I'll see you then or I'll see you in hell."
Taking a step away, Rhysio's eyes shoot skyward to look for guidance from above as he takes a deep breath in and exhales slowly, his shoulders rising and falling with the action.
"Let me forward the messages I got to you. I'm not sure I have your address. You'll see." She pulls her datapad out from the cunning little purse that swings from the high waisted belt that is cinched under her breasts. "Ready?" A voice pulls her attention away from the job at hand and her head swings to find its source, jostling light from her earrings. "Ah." She up nods smiling, "That would be one of the crew that I'd like you to meet."
"Fire away," Ty says as she brings out her own highly modified datapad out from the folds of her clothes. One of the advantages of wearing loose flowing clothes, lots of hiding places. As she turns on the pad she looks up and around the port to see who Dy was speaking of. Her gaze settles on the human male "Him? He's one of your crew?" She asks, not at all disappointed.
With a bright laugh Dyannah nods, "Indeed, you'll find the crew is very nice to look at - both male and female. It has its downside. We tend to turn heads. This is Rhysio Ando, let me introduce you," she says as she shepards Tylin back towards the man. "Axon," she calls. "Meet someone very special to me," she says in a lower voice as they approach him.
Looking down from the sky as he hears his name, Rhysio Ando looks into the crowd and scans until he spots Dyannah. He looks left and right to guage the crowd and then dives in, weaving his way through as he hikes the strap of his cunning satchel higher onto his shoulder. He closes the distance between Dyannah and Tylin, looking from Dy to Tylin before he extends his hands, "It's a pleasure, I'm told!" He looks towards Dyannah, his eyebrows raised, "And just who is this?"
In tow Ty slows as she and Dy near the man. A smirk spreads across Ty's features "A pleasure. Would that be for me meeting you or you meeting me? For of course it is true on the later the former will have to yet be judged." She gives his hand a brief glance "Tylin. But most just call me Ty."
"Or Tee," chimes in Dyannah visibly happy at her presence. Nodding to Rhysio, she makes the presentations. "I hope it will be both your pleasures. Axon, this is one of the best slicers in the quadrant. Good with a gun but better with anything electronic though she may deny it."
"This handsome man," Dy's violet eyes twinkle mischievously, "is Axon and he has many talents. A breadth of them, one being persuasion of the non-violent kind though he packs a mean blaster, too." She steps back to watch the two of them.
With a blink, Rhysio tilts his head back and says, "Ahhh, best slicer in the quadrant. Axon is my codename, but I expect you'll be wise to the full awesomeness that is me on your next trip across the Holonet." He then grins, "Good to meet you, Tee."
He turns his attention to Dyannah, shaking his head and then switching directions to a nod as he's called handsome. Then shrugs his shoulders but doesn't quite deny having a line of BS a kilometer wide, and then simply says 'No' as Dyannah mentions his blaster. With a blithe smile, he adds, "Dy always forgets to mention how humble I am. I'm number one at being humble."
That smirk remains fixed on Ty as she looks from Dy and says a soft "Thank you," but it's really reserved for Axon. "Code name. Wow, a real spy or something." She brings up her datapad "Two things I've learned. Never piss off the cook and," dramatic pause "never doubt the power of a slicer. For, you see, she can do great damage. Kind of like the time I had a warrant of bounty issues for the head of CoreStar security after he hassled my friend. Or the time I emptied the pirate's bank and deposited in the account of a deserving orphanage." All the while her voice pleasant. "Actually, the possibilities are endless to my powers."
"These are things that are manifestly obvious with a sentence or two, Axon. Why over explain?" Dyannah says with a quick sharp glance at him. "Entertain her for a moment. I know you are capable of it. I see someone I need to talk to." She nods at an official looking person walking with their head down over a datapad. Picking up her long skirt she sweeps away.
Rhysio Ando shakes his head to Ty with a grin, "Never have, never will." He looks towards Dyannah, "Expeditiousness. We have a busy evening. We might all be dead before I can explain fully." He follows the gesture towards the official looking person, nodding his head soberly before he looks back to Ty, "Sooo... Why did the Twi'lek major domo cross the street?"
Watching Dy move off, Ty turns her attention back to Axon. A look of satisfaction comes "Good, I see you are learning." A bit full of her self "Please, tell me, why did the Twi'lek major domo cross the street?"
With a chuckle, Rhysio shakes his head, "Not at all. I started out complimentary." He then waves a hand, "Nevermind." He then clears his throat, "To get to the other bribe."
He turns his head to look after where Dyannah went to converse, his eyes narrowing before looking back towards Tylin with his face whitewashed, "Anyway, not a spy per se. Spies work for sanctioned governments. Just a loud mouth..."
With her features softening Ty looks down for a moment before looking again at Axon. "I see. Well, then perhaps I rushed to judgement. Maybe you would care to go with me back to Nar to get my other ship? We could start over, if you have a mind to?" Her proper speech breaking momentarily as her true background slips out.
With a nod, Rhysio replies, "That shouldn't be a problem. I think we're either going to recruit someone or get killed today, so we might want to wait until afterwards." He pauses, raising an eyebrow, "Your ship wouldn't happen to be landed at the CorStar spaceport, would it?"
Returning from her conversation, Dyannah says after quick inspection of the their faces, "They are late. So. I don't know what that augurs. But then again, Rial is late which is not at all out of character for the man." She slips a fan from the little bag that swings at her waist, unfurls it with a single snap of her wrist and looks around them impatiently as she fans herself.
"Let us hope that this is not because of them waiting for reinforcements. This is a neutral planet or so they would like to think. How many ships did you lose in the bombing, Ty?"
A shake of her head "No, it wasn't. My other ships," she points to the End Game "and another were in my hangar so they were protected. I was able to sneak in and get them out so they are now at Parmac B." Ty explains. "My other ship, the Paradox, has my main compsys on it. It pretty much lets me get into anywhere and at any time."
