For eons the planet Fondor has been an industrial and manufacturing powerhouse in the ship building game. Massive factories both in orbit and on the surface have long acted as the lifeblood of the planet's commerce. This has surely not changed now that the Sith Empire maintains a secure grip on the world and the argument could probably be made that since the Sith Empire's rise the production of Fondor's factories and facilities has only increased in their output.

On a world where the civilized zones are dedicated to manufacturing and production, the areas beyond those zones tend toward desolate wastelands of a heavily strip mined world. Long ago the natural resources of Fondor were exhausted and now the planet features an abundance of incoming traffic ferrying all manner of materials in from offworld for use in the vast sprawl of factories marring the face of Fondor.

Two days ago a small team of bounty hunters had arrived on the planet. Easily blending in with the inbound traffic they had infiltrated with relative ease. Though under such circumstances it can often be easier to get onto a planet, than escape it should things go very poorly. Over those two days work is performed. A Mandalorian known as Kademir Taerok - an apprentice bounty hunter in his own right - had performed extensive research on an individual known as Karonda Dodonna. Unfortunately he was unable to find any relevant information utilizing that name. Kademir and his trusty BD-unit had devised the clever idea of slicing together a package utilizing the holo-image of Karonda Dodonna, which they then slipped into the local security sensors to alert them if an individual matching Karonda Dodonna's appearance surfaced. From there it became a simple affair of matching Dodonna's assumed identity on Fondor - Klar Mordyn - and using that to begin gathering information about him through the Fondor Shipwright Guild's personnel databanks that were, unhelpfully, fairly short on details outside of where Mordyn is assigned to work.

After discovering where Dodonna - or Mordyn as he went by on Fondor - worked in a manufacturing plant that was dedicated to the assembly of capitol ship power converters, that Amal Jha is deployed to approach a series of other workers at Plant #A16J. Through a series of careful interactions with other workers that Amal Jha is able to glean information that would further point toward a helpful direction: where Klar Mordyn lays his head at night.

Away from the manufacturing epicenter the bounty hunters lay in wait. An old, abandoned warehouse that once stored materials for use in the manufacturing process that has fallen into disrepair. It is there that the bounty hunters have decided to spring their trap, awaiting the arrival of the alleged Klar Mordyn following his latest shift at the assembly plant.

The interior of the warehouse is an assortment of old storage crates, long since ransacked and pilfered of anything of use. A small living area in a second floor office is found, with most of the warehouse left untouched; likely to present any urban scavengers with the facade of an abandoned structure that they would, hopefully, not think to look in the old and abandoned offices.

Amal Jha

Amal, who was not one to leave things to simply hoping that things were as quiet as they appeared, made use of the time that the shift was underway, though she began as early as possible, made her way to the old warehouse which had been designated as the target's residence, and gained entry through one of the many delivery doors. Well, not many, but at least one which still functioned. She spoke no words, though she kept the comm unit with it's subvocal pickup which wrapped around her throat like a semi-decorative choker active as she found a set of crates to settle behind, a hand reaching up to activate the shadow plates which she had brought out for the occasion, the technology doing what it could to allow the woman to blend into the background. The pair of blades she held in hand, broken down from their single form were dark, currently unenergized.

Kademir Taerok

His luck at scomping was not at solid for once. There is a deep deep frown behind the visor when gathering information. The little gold and blue BD unit burbles up at him. The visor turns towards the droid, and the scomp link. There is a nod, and BD gets himself in there. BD does a much better job than he did by far. <"Huh. I really should use you more often. Uh. Don't tell Dad yet."> There's a shifting of eyes behind the visor. His fist comes up to offer for a little bump, BD shifts to claw-bump the fist, burbling happily before leaping back up onto Kademir's shoulder to clamp onto the Bilari-Hilt.

Once they have reached their destination to await the target. A Plan kind of just materializes. Amal goes in first, in retrospect she is better than he and should have been second to his own attempts. Before they had taken off, he'd been sure to dial in a frequency to encrypt and share with the team. Just in case. Kademir then makes his way up into a dark corner of the rafter system, ready to be called down. He can go loud via rocketpack, only if things go bad... or glide in with his gravity belt for a surprise factor.

Shortly after the end of Dodonna's shift at Plant #A16J a lone figure comes trudging down what constitutes a pedestrian walkway in the old abandoned warehouse district. The collar of his worker's jacket thrown up against the slight sting of acidic rain and his hands shoved deep into his pockets, he walks stiffly along with his head down and his shoulders slumped. The personnel door next to the large loading bay doors is opened and in comes an individual. He removes his hat and gloves, using his now bare hands to scrub what little of the acidic rain had found itself upon his skin.

The lighting within the old warehouse is quite dim, with only a few functional light sources available and still in operation. Despite that fact both Amal and Kademir are able to positively identify Kardona Dodonna by his appearance. He looks a little older, a little more haggard, a little more overworked than the holo-image in circulation with the Guild had shown? Unfortunately that's the way life goes when your every waking hour is typically spent working in a coreward industrial powerhouse such as Fondor.

It's in the center of the warehouse floor that Dodonna finally shrugs free of his heavy jacket. There it is seen that he wears a holstered blaster pistol on his right hip. Judging by the wear on the holster, it's likely that he has made use of that holster and pistol for a number of years at this point.

It appears Dodonna is preparing to head for the set of durasteel open-air stairs that will lead up onto the second floor catwalks and, eventually, the office where he's created his own abandoned warehouse living quarters.

Amal Jha

Amal was not foolish enough to alert the quarry as soon as he entered the warehouse. Instead, she adjusted her position so that she could keep track of where he was moving. She moved when he moved, stopped when he stopped, allowing his own body movements to, hopefully, cover any noises she might, herself, make. Do not attempt to discern how she managed to move so well and so quietly in those heels. It was an echani secret. Moving on.

As the bounty made his way up towards the catwalk, Amal moved from the shadows, bringing some of them with her in the form of the shifting, rippling shadows of the plates she had placed over her usual clothing. She stalked a short way behind. Far enough that she could hide herself from view, not so far that she could not rush to meet the quarry if that was required. A double tap of her comms unit enough to send the message that she was on the move.

Kademir Taerok

The double click was received and Kademir started mentally counting as he kept the tracking icon on his HUD locked onto Dodonna. To the young excited bounty hunter, it feels like it takes hours. When Amal pops into view blocking the go back route, and it seems it's too high to worry about Dodonna trying to jump a rail (In theory). That is when Kademir leaps out, he activates medium jetpack half a second too late. He clangs down hard, on his feet with a muffled grunt within the helmet. The Bilari chain-whip is flickd out and configured immediately into whip mode for it's stunning power and put on a display of crackling segmented energy. <"Do not move, Dodonna.">

Aejin Taerok

It's hard to miss a Mandalorian suddenly dropping from above and into your immediate line of sight. It's that which seems to freeze Karonda Dodonna in his tracks. His hazel eyes seem to widen with a mixture of alarm and fear when someone in the infamous armor of a Mandalorian is suddenly clanging down onto the catwalk a short distance of himself. Instinctively his head snaps to the side and when his chin is pointed in the direction of his shoulder, he throws a suddenly startled glance over his shoulder.

Whether he sees the bounty hunter creeping through the gloom at his back or not, Dodonna's attention snaps forward and toward Kademir when the Mandalorian addresses him by name. A name he'd not heard in some weeks at least and definitely not on the planet Fondor. Dodonna draws in a long, slow breath before he begins to swallow around the lump that has quickly formed in his throat.

"Listen!" he blurts that first word out with a tone of surprise, anxiety, and fear, "I didn't..." and after he's began making his grand speech about how he's an innocent man, they'll surely kill him, and all the other excuses an acquisition will undoubtedly give over the course of a hunter's career? Dodonna begins to move. A boot to a door to his immediate left leaves a grease-and-oil boot print on the door as he begins to rush through it, making his grand escape.

What was sure to be a valiant escape; has quickly turned into an escape attempt. When Dodonna had booted the office door open, he had began to run through it. Unfortunately he misjudged the strength of his boot. The door banged open, slams into the wall behind the door, and then swiftly swings closed again. The same doorway which Dodonna had began his no doubt elaborate escape through. The door slams into Dodonna's face and the blood smear on the door seems to illustrate the door's own fury at having been so ruthlessly kicked open.

The impact is enough to send Dodonna stumbling back, with his blaster pistol in hand. He had probably planned to use it to shoot out a plasteel window and make a daring leap from the second floor.

It was never always about the kill. And while that might have been easier, for the chani, who was taking advantage of both the imposing figure of the mandalorian and the utter outrage of the much abused and certainly disrespected door, the bounty had not been to bring back the body, and so, Amal surged forward, moving with her trademark efficiency, as she adjusted the blades in her hands, flipping thema round so that the flats rested against her forearms, the cutting edge held away from the man now struggling on his backside. She struck three times. Once to his arm, allowing the sizzle of electrical energy to, hopefully, cause his muscles to spasm and release the blaster, once to center of his back to buckle his center of gravity. The last to the side of his head, to, one would hope, scramble his mental functioning. In the end, he was far less resilient than she ad anticipated. Certainly nowhere near as strong as his former compatriot, whom they had met before, and the body was soon unconscious. "We should secure him, and then make our departure."

Kademir Taerok

There was a litany of excuses his Father pre-warned him about. Kademir was still prepared to listen, it might have been a new interesting one. Then upon the man acting he was prepared and tensing up to utilize the whip. He never gets the chance. Dodonna takes a door to the face hard enough that Kademir's own nose feels sympathy. Briefly. Then the living shadow behind Dononna on the stairs moves and lights the man up so to speak, causing a little sizzling action to occur. Dodonna is clearly out cold. Between the door and his own landing Kademir comments as he reconfigures the weapon, sheathes it, and moves forwards with the binders. <"I think this building is just cursed to sudden movement."> He rolls the man to the side and applies the binders firmly before starting a search, unable to locate anything. Which is maddening in itself and awfully suspicious. So he searches harder, and comes up just as empty. What can possibly go wrong?

Aejin Taerok

Dodonna doesn't last long. With his nose bleeding and bewildered by the door's assault, he'd fallen on his backside. Blaster pistol in hand, he looks about himself with shocked surprised. He may be concussed. Suddenly there's a very pale, but still shadowy, woman upon him and slapping him with the flat of some blades. The first one stings a bit and Dodonna blurts out a drawling, "Heeeyyyy," before he's slapped a second time, and then finally a third. Soon enough he's unconscious and at the mercy of Kademir as the Mandalorian bounty hunter sweeps in to begin binding his wrists together behind his back.

Amal Jha

Leaving the bounty to be secured by the mandalorian hunter, Amal moved into the living space. He was wanted for theft. It was, perhaps, a good idea to determine whether he had with him any information on what had been stolen or where it might be. Not that she had been told what he had stolen. She was only the retrieval agent, but, it never hurt to do ones due diligence. "We can move when you're ready."

Aejin Taerok

The bounty secured; now it's time to make an exit. Blasting ones way out of an Imperial held world is rarely good for business. While it's rough going at first, soon enough the combined efforts of the bounty hunter of Clan Taerok and his faithful BD-companion are able to slice together a simple escape measure. The manufacturing world of Fondor always had various waste products that needed to be taken away from the planet to prevent it becoming an irradiated or otherwise toxic wasteland; it was toxic enough after all. Therefore their outbound cargo manifest is manipulated to reflect just that: toxic waste bound for the forest moon of Endor from the planet Fondor. Right where no one would ever mind it being spilled.

A few hours after their acquisition and with Karonda Dodonna stuffed away for safekeeping, the bounty hunters with their prize make their departure from the planet Fondor. Merging with all of the other outbound traffic, they fly casually and only make themselves a target of notice when directly addressed. A hailing from a Destroyer of the Sith Empire's Fourth Fleet results in a transfer of clearance codes and a cargo manifest. Likely not wishing to have to potentially wade through the irradiated mess of a freighter's cargo hold in order to verify the truth of the manifest, they are simply metaphorically waved along.

Soon the team of bounty hunters, along with their acquisition, are immersed within the blue-white tunnel of hyperspace. Their destination is Hutt Space and the delivery of their prize.
