BN7 Light Repulsortank
An aging design in use by the Rebel Alliance, the BN7 Repulsortank is a collage of Old Republic technology spliced with newer bits and pieces. No two BN7 tanks are identical, due to the Rebellion's nature of using what they can find. The shell of the tank is an ovaline shape, domed toward the center. Generally painted to match the area in which it operates, the durasteel shell loses its sleek appearance in the rear, where a blocky repulsor engine mount has been welded for increased battlefield dexterity. On a pivot mount atop the ovaline structure, a turred pod with a rounded, inverted pyramid shape rests, a long, thin barrel protruding from the front. This medium blaster cannon, lethal to infantry and small vehicles, is painfully ineffective against the heavy armored vehicles of the Empire. A hatch on the aft side leads into the chamber of the two-man vehicle.
